About RemedyAtlas
RemedyAtlas is a curated, evidence-informed directory of natural remedies. Each entry pairs traditional knowledge with modern study citations so you can make better-informed decisions in conversation with a qualified clinician.
What we publish
- A plain-language summary of each remedy
- Proposed mechanism of action
- Active medicinal compounds and nutritional contents
- Traditional use across cultures
- Evidence grade (A–D) based on the strength of clinical research
- Clear safety warnings and known medication interactions
- Citations to peer-reviewed studies
Our language
We deliberately use phrases like "may support," "has been studied for," and "traditional use suggests." We do not say "cures," "treats," or "reverses" — because the science is rarely that definitive, and because that language would be a medical claim we are not qualified to make.
Community votes
Signed-in users can share whether a remedy helped them, did not help them, or whether they're unsure — with an optional short note. Personal-experience reports only; no advice to others.
Evidence grades
- Grade A — multiple high-quality clinical studies
- Grade B — some clinical studies; results promising
- Grade C — limited or mixed clinical evidence
- Grade D — mostly traditional use; little clinical evidence
